Hi all,

Just after some advice really. I've recently built a new bike and fitted some generic 50mm Chinese carbon clinchers. They run great on the roads around Warwickshire but I'm goin to the Alps to see the tour in a few weeks and im considering taking them over my Campag Zondas.

I've read a ton of congecture on threads about " I knew a mates mate who etc...." but I was wondering if anyone has any 1st hand experience decending on cheaper carbon clinchers.

I'm tempted to just err on the side of caution and run with the Zondas again. I'll be in the Haut Savoie area so I'll be descending climbs like Avoriaz, the Colombiere and we plan going to the Grand Colombiere too.

Any good advice greatly received.
