Ridgeway nr Swindon

Hi All,

Has anyone ridden the Ridgeway near Swindon in the last few days? How are conditions? I suspect with all the rain its a bit of a bog in places?

    Over that way. Was fine until this morning... may be a bit wet/muddy now. TBH it rarely gets anything other than the odd puddle though.

    It was ok yesterday.

    Like weeksy59 says, it rarely gets more than the odd puddle in places.

    Depends which section you mean really but was riding sections late on Sun and it had a bit of standing water but was fine.

    It drains quickly as its higher ground and chalk. I'm not sure why they decided to cap some lanes round there with chalk though, its better than it was a few years back not but its been potentially lethal in the wet. Fine if you're on foot but but potentially slippery on 2 wheels.
