Hi has anyone used either the new Vittoria Diamonte Pro Radiales or the Vittoria CX Evo clinchers??
I am due to change my tyres as they are well worn. Usually use Conti Force Attacks but just ran out an old set of PRO3's but thinking of a change. I did once try a vittoria Tub and binned the bike on the first bend in the wet!!
Looking for honest opinions on either of these tyres from a Racing point of view and not leisure or sportive. Ride the road races, circuit and very tight Crits so must be fast but more importantly tight tight corners in the wet..
Cheers

I've had CX Evo clinchers and tubolars... they are excellent, very light and fast tyres. Don't expect them to cover 5000 miles or to be punctureproof on back roads in winter and you won't be disappointedleft the forum March 20230

Nice one cheers mate. The life expectancy isnt an issue as i tend to run through tyres fairly quickly which is why i dont use tubs anymore. i ride around 4 - 5 races per week and it was driving me mad with puntures on tubs and re-glueing replacing etc etc... cheers matey0

I use the CX evo on both bikes all year round and can't fault them, mileage is ok and p******es are virtually non existant(down to luck with any tyre) and they don't cut up like pro3s. Just make sure that they're scrubbed-in before you go out in the wet, after that they're great.0
