Ok guys looking at building and xc hardtail, these are the 2 frames I'm looking at.

I.m about 11.5 stone, want it for xc racing and a bit of trail centre abusing, I am a light but aggressive rider.

The whippet is lighter and cheaper, depends what geometry you prefer? 70 vs 71 degree head angle.
And what fork? The whippet is warranted for 120mm forks, the the kinesis is only 100mm.0 -
the whippet would be my choice. but the bottom bracket size is a bit 'spazzy', BB92
cant seem to find much about them, apart from some Lapierre owners have them and hate them2011 KHS Full Susser Carbon 29er Race BuildClank wrote:M'eh, I might just go back to zapping it with frikken lay-zur beeeems. And sharks.0 -
Hmm - tough choice. The kinesis looks better but the On-One is better value in some ways. Will both ride well. Maybe the one one? What about a silver scandal?'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
