Swissstop flash pro brake pads. Black or green?

I'm thinking about upgrading the brakepads on the missus bike and my bike to some swissstop flash pads as our current pads are shocking.

What's the difference between the green and black pads apart from colour and a couple of £. I'm guessing a compound difference. Are the greens worth the extra?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but not really the answer I was looking for.

Yes, they're expensive, but from what I've read they're worth the extra money.

They are worth the money. Fail to see how £20 delivered for a full set of 4 pads with brake shoes can ever be deemed expensive given the stopping power it gives in the wet and dry. Kool Stop salmons are hardly cheaper, and they're cartridge only.

Back to the question, I won't go back to Kool Stop Salmons. Green wear down too quickly imo. Black last a lot longer.

Have never tried the black but put greens on my Secteur and they are very good. Never had any worries doing a 40mph descent into Ripponden in the pouring rain a couple of weeks ago!
