Old Bike Mags for Soldiers?

Hello all,

Im currently serving out in Afghanistan and was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to send any of your old bike magazines to me as there is a couple of us out here who are keen MTB's.

Postage is free as long as it doesnt weigh over 2kg's.

If anyone is willing please let me know and i'll give you my address.

    May be a bit gay for a mountain biker but I have a stack of recent road bike Mags I'd be more than willing to send??

    Just so that you're not inundated with our old mags might be a good idea for us to say what we're sending. I subscribe to mbuk so I'll send a couple of recent issues soon and then each time they come I can send it along when I'm done with it.

    Old bike mags. Couple of glamorous granny and 60+ mags on their way out to you. Small bottle of vodka as well, just to keep the BFPO boys interested ;)
    Seriously, I'll sort through some recent issues of Dirt mag. Also got masses of classic mini mags if any of the lads a interested. No point sending them if all they are gonna do is slow the post down for everyone else.

    So we just bung them in a jiffy, weigh them to make sure they are under 2kg, and post?

    I've probably got a few photography mags too if interested.

    You don't have any ladies that I can send the wife's collection of ideal home and other such to? Probably need a jiffy-skip for that lot.

    None of my lads are mini enthuasiasts Matt-r8 but i was quite looking forward to the glamorous granny and 60+ mags lol.

    Yeah diy once your happy with the weight just drop it off at the post office and tell them its for a serving soldier. I would be interested in the photography mags too cheers.

    Sure, I've got about 2yrs worth of MBUK you can have. I'm fairly sure at least a couple of the recent ones are unopened.

    got a stack of old copies of Dirt......and about 3 seasons worth of whitelines snowboarding mags sat doing nothing
