Had a quick flick through Rouleur in WHSmiths this morning and loved the photos of the Tour by Robert Capa. Check 'em out...

Think we need to see more buckets of water thrown at riders. I'll pack one for the Tour this year! :D

I like it when hobbies converge...

Didn't know Capa had photographed the Tour. Thanks for the link.

Probably the greatest ever photographer in my opinion.

I have this book at home. It's very good.

Afraid I didn't know who he was.

Seen his photos before, but only when I got home and did a bit of an internet search did I realise who he was. Well, you learn something everyday. :D

The back to back photos in Rouleur of the crowd looking left to see the race coming and right once it has passed are worth the cover price alone.

    Fantastic stuff.

Yes one of the greats and just about everyone would recognise at least 1 of his photographs and some would recognise several, even if you didn't know who the photographer was.

Certainly better than arty shots of lathes in some factory.

I wonder if you could knock a small rider off in a TT if you hit a disc wheel?
