New cap - important question

I've just purchased a Campagnolo cycling cap to wear while cycling on holiday, to stop me getting sun burn under my helmet (stop sniggering). Just a cheapo from Planet X. However, I didn't realise until it arrived that it had the world champion rainbow band on it. I know there is a constant debate about wearing this kind of thing and I'm now worried that (a) people might mistake me for the actual world champion and (b) I'll burn in hell for having the audacity to wear. Any advice, I just don't know what to do

Cheers

Having rainbow bands on hats, jersey sleeves and bike frames has been accepted practise for many years, just that some get sniffy if you wear the WC Champs jersey itself. Besides, it's under your helmet, so who's going to notice?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I have the same cap. I've had no grief about the world champion stripes but a lot of banter about having a campag hat and a shimano drivetrain...
