Hello all

I've recently bought a carrera Vulcan which has suntour xcm v3 forks...when cleaning it I noticed that the underneath of the fork is exposed where it meets the stem. Over time I guess this will become a mud trap and could be susceptible to rust- should this be exposed or should it be capped? If the later could someone advise where caps can be purchased please?

Thanks

If you mean the bottom of the steerer tube then I wouldn't worry about it. Just clean it out when you clean the bike. You used to be able to get bungs for them but then they would just hold any water/dirt that got in there.
I love horses, best of all the animals. I love horses, they're my friends.
