Bike to work recommendations

Ok, have a wonderful road and full suspension mountain bike so have worked out that the only thing I can really use my company's new bike to work scheme for is a bike I would like to ride that I'm. Not too worried about getting nicked (ideally British made or at least designed). 11 mile Commute is relatively flat so single speed would be fine. What can people recommend? I thought I need a bike that I can commute on but I wouldn't be afraid too much of being nicked from the bike parks at work which I would leave neither of my current bikes in....

I should add, I'm in East Midlands so local or national supplier recommendations would be welcome, bike plus quality locks and accessories suggestions would also be really useful.

The old favourite question in reply.... budget?

Sorry, should have mentioned....bike to work budget £1k. I'd love to spend more (if feasible within the scheme) on something like a Cotic Soul but that would also add to the nickability "would I be too worried about leaving it locked up at work" factor.

    On One Pompetamine Versa.

British designed, steel frame, hub gears, disc brakes, perfect commuter I reckon.

It's a nice looking bike in my opinion so probably nickable to some degree but probably less so than anything with Trek, Specialized, Cannondale etc written on it.

Look interesting, will take a look, thanks. Got to do some better looking round today - Cotic Roadrat or Pace 46:12 might also be options.
