Hi,
What are you using to stop cable rub ? I've got some of the lizard skin patches which are ok on a nice smooth flat area but around the head tube there useless ! What are those jagwire ones like ?
Any suggestions on something that works please.

I've just picked up some of those rubber noodles things that fit over the cables. Got them from decathlon on the advice of someone who rates them. There are jagwire ones on eBay...0

I'd used an assortment of techniques (for frame protection) and got fed up with them for various reasons so I tried these. They seem to work with no damage to the frame or the cable and they look less "obvious" over prolonged use.
The only thing I would point out is that they have a slit along one side which is how you slip them over the cable. In one instance I found one of these almost popped off so I use a bit of marine tape over the slit so they can't work their way off.0 -

Personally i would buy some of this i have the lizard skin patches on my mountain bike but this on my single speed road bike and it is much better, Cheaper, sticks better and you can make it to whatever shape you want. Im thinking of taking the lizard skin patches off and putting some of this on before i start riding again it seems much better.Check out my blog for my views and reviews: http://memylifeandmybike.blogspot.co.uk/0 -
