Alivio shifters and SLX mech

Can I expect any issues if i put shimano SLX derailleur with Alivio shifters and drivetrain? Previous alivio mech died, I can get spare SLX one but changing rest of the stuff this month is not an option. Any opinions welcome. Thx.

    As long as it Is not 10spd there is no issues.

    As overhead in the FAQs.
