Yes, they do look space-age cool - but what about ventilation?

Not needed, they are short events.

I almost believed this but then read:

"The consultancy adds that the project came in at 50 per cent under budget."

Yeah right, no projects in the UK come under budget. That NapD, he's such a kidder

    They look amazing!

The article mentioned they were to be used for road events - that's what puzzled me. Not impossible the writer of the article got it wrong...

Hmm - need to get my TT Helmet visor curved back inwards - mine sort of wraps around at the top (as normal) but goes straight down and out at the bottom - certainly look slick these GB track ones.

Not sure about this, i was speaking to a rep of Kask and he said the team sky style tt helmet would be released after the olympics. Why wait if team gb arent wearing them?
Obviously there could have been a change of plan(money?) since then-who knows??

Cant see Miller etc being allowed to ride without his branded helmet for the Road Race. Even if Kask are ok with it?

Although thinking about it. I take it spondership deals for trade teams may not apply for the olympics? It is simply a case of using the equiment they have i.e Team branded gear in the road race/TT events?

I know some of the Sky guys had GB coloured Kask helmets while others had Sky branded. Was odd.

I assumed these were just for the track events.
Either way, riders would usually just sticker up their preferred equipment with sponsor equipment logos...
