Hi all!
Got into road bikes about a year ago when i bought this caad8. Completely hooked now and i think the only part i havn't changed is the frame! Mainly got into it to get fit and lose some weight, I was just under 17 stone when i started and am now just over 15 and still dropping although a bit slower now! I completed the Norwich 100 a few weeks ago with a time of 5hr40mins which i was very pleased with. I have set myself a target weight of 13 and half before i upgrade to a full carbon. Anyway, enough waffling, here is my current ride!

    Very nice!

I like the colour coordination you have going on ;)
  • Thats a nice thing! -

.... but i am biased as i have a CAAD 8 too (tiagra) in the black and white! - I love it, only been cycling 4 months but i've been bitten by the bug and like you, have lost weight and feel tons better. First 60 miler in a few weeks, cant wait!

How cool! I have that very frame (the 2010 Sora triple if it was the same bike stock - assumming the livery wasn't shared). Best bit though... sitting in a box at home is a 5700 (silver) set ready to fit.

Hope to be joining you in the CAAD8 105 club the next week or two ...

That's a mighty respectable time for a 100 miler within your first full year. Well done!
