bottom barcket upgrade!

ive got a 2012 specialized allez sport which needs a new bottom bracket,can i upgrade or will it have to be compatible with the chainset? its got a sora groupset!

thinking of getting a 105 bb for the sake of a few extra quid?

    Just make sure correct thread type, shell size and axle length

    Yes, if it's an outboard bottom bracket all the Shimano ones are the same size, so you just need to make sure you get English thread.
