It looked to me like the tree was much bigger and in the background when I first watched. Bit shocked when he hit it...

In fairness though, this wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been wearing that helmet. I've heard they cause more damage than good.
Also, that video would have been 1,000 times better if after a minute someone nicked the camera.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

There's probably a lot of Crudders thinking exactly the same thing

The tree's probably a bit pi$$ed off that some failed Darwin award candidate managed to smack into it when there were no other trees for a good 20 yards in any direction :)

weirdly the doctor wasn't too bothered about that or the arrow lodged inside my neck! he kept going on about my collar bone.

pah, i'd be more worried about the unredness of your dot and i'd take some pain killers for the arrow in your neck.

oh really, this just gets worse! knowing my luck and the run I've been having lately I'll prob return to my bike once I'm fixed up only to find that someone's nicked my dust caps!

Well, they certainly aren't visible in the X-ray, so they must have been nicked.
