Trek Ex8 or Canyon Nerve xc8

I am stuck between the two of them. Ridden the trek and really liked it and can pick one up for £1950, but so many reviews on the Canyons can't be wrong can they? Plus I'm saving £300 on the latter at the moment, which gets me a new winter light. The Trek is a safer bet I suppose and I know I like it and a 17.5 frame fits well, but the set up/ layout on each looks pretty similar to me. I'd be going for a small Canyon at 5'8" and shortish legs and arms

Any ideas?
