Possibly should be in Commuting General but that board scares me.
I have a Planet X Kaffenback with a Deore groupset on it. It has flat bars at the moment. I want to change it to drops, and got some On One midge bars. Stand alone brake levers on these bars are easy to find.
Gears though. The groupset is triple at the front, 9 at the back. Would dura ace bar end shifters work? Specifically, these ones?

Bar end shifters are very versatile. You shouldn't have any problem0
