Sunday 10 June Earls Colne - which race or time trial

At around 08:30am on Sunday 10th June 2012 I was travelling through Earls Colne torwards Colchester and noticed a large number of cyclists participating in what appeared to be a TT (or maybe triathlon bike leg). The participants were definitely avoing drafting. Can anyone shed any light on what this event was?
