Has anyone used roots riding, more specifically their dales uplift days.

What does it comprise of is it more a guided tour or is there some tuition involved. Are they worth the money, £80

Like I said before, I've ridden with Jay a lot although I haven't specifically done the uplift day advertised on his website. He's a really friendly bloke, really laid back and very, very good on a bike. I think I've ridden most of the descents that are included on the uplift day with him, but not all in one go. It's not 'downhill' as in 7 inch+ travel needed, full face helmet and body armour, it's basically some of the best bits of descents in the Dales, some pretty technical others really fast and flowing, but without having to do all the pedalling in between. I'm guessing the exact nature of the day and the coaching/guided riding split would depend on the group, I'd suggest getting in touch with him and asking, he'd probably be happy to tailor a ride towards what you were most interested in.
