Built up from spare parts, just about to take it out for its first proper ride. If I like the frame I may get some more appropriate parts for it...

Frame/Fork- Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra in Columbus TSX from c. 1989, Campag Record headset.
Wheels- Mavic Ksyrium Elite with SRAM Red Cassette
Gears/Shifters/Brakes- Ultegra 6700
Chainset- Old Shimano 105 with Rotor Q Rings
Chain- Shimano
Bars- Cinelli Campione Del Monde
Stem- Cinelli
Bar tape- Decathlon's Fizik Microtex copy (5 quid)
Cages- Elite
Seatpost- 3T Dorico Team
Saddle- Yes
Tyres/Tubes- Conti Attack/Force with Michelin Aircomp Latex tubes
Cables- Mix of Dura ace/Jagwire
Pedals- Look keo easy

I've ridden it with flat pedals just round the village and it's very stuff but smooooth. This will be my first proper ride...

    Erm... Wow! Top quality steel and modern components = WIN!

    Tinkered with the position a bit, stem lowered from pic, saddle moved back a bit. It's so smooth :)

    To be honest mate, quite possibly!

    During the ride I had a blast up a local short steep hill to put it through the stiffness test. Bearing in mind I haven't been training I beat my Strava PR done on my Cervelo by 2 seconds. Bearing in mind I was trying before too and the Cervelo is 3 kg lighter!
