Going to be staying in Guilford this week (yeah!), is there anywhere nearby I can go for a couple of hours evening ride?
Cheers

You're within easy reach of the Surrey Hills, Swinley and Tunnel Hill. That gives you a couple of hundred miles of trails, many within riding distance.0

You're a bit of a way from Swinley but the Surrey Hills are close by.
This site has a lot of lowdown on where to go:

You're pretty near the Surrey Hills, Leith hill, Pitch hill and Holmbury hill all of which offer good rides. A few miles away from the Surrey hills is also Box Hill also offering a bit of single track. Swinley forrest is also another place full of single track for you to enjoy!SPECIALIZED ROCKHOPPER EXPERT 20120

Easiest thing is catch a train to Gomshall (for Pitch and Holmbury Hill and Winterfold) or Westcott (for Leith). But nothing is marked and it's a huge area, so best to find some maps or arrange to ride with someone who knows the area.
Or a train to Martins Heron for Swinley, smaller but still not marked.
Or if you have a car ignore this.I don't do smileys.
