I just bought a used Specialized Rockhopper 2010 SL

The previous owner hardly used it and kept it stored indoors. It rides fine but i would like to get it serviced and cleaned up as there is still mud on it and the cassette and chain looks abit grubby.

Do LBS give it a good clean & degrease ?

Whats the going rate for a service/clean/degrease at a LBS ?

Sounds like it wasn't cared for neither.

Just get a bucket of hot water, clean it up, and relube it. Everything you need is here

Doubt your LBS is going to wash it for you, and it's just going to get dirty again.

No point washing an MTB sparkling clean, it will be dirty again in 20 yards!

Learn to do routine maintenance yourself, paying a shop will cost a fortune as MTB's usual need a small amount of fettling almost every ride, I don't ever service the bika as such just check things over and correct as required.
