Question for folks with Urge Down O Matic FF's...

Hello :D

Really pleased with my new Urge FF helmet. The only snag is that the top of the helmet (the bit on your forehead) obviously comes down a bit lower, therefore pushing my goggles lower squashing my nose  It's not exactly life-and-death stuff, but not ideal.

My goggles are bog-standard Oakley (small framed) ones - what goggles do other people use with them?

Thanks!

Edited to avoid daft responses....

I will avoid the many, many possible daft comments.
I have no problems with mine using Fox Main goggles which I believe are very similar shape to Oakley.

I assume you have a fairly small face (compared to some of the apes on here).
Might be worth trying something like this - cheap enough as an experiment.

The best advice I got for helmet and goggle fit (although this was for snowboarding) was to buy the goggles and helmet from the same manufacturer (e.g. Smith) because they will almost guaranteed to work together...... unfortunately Urge don't do goggles..... so the second best bit of advice I heard about goggles is to go to a shop and try pairs on, everyone's face is different, what fits one person won't fit another as well. So for any recommendations people give in this thread, I'd recommend to get to somewhere that sells them and try them with the helmet.

    Yep, both very sensible suggestions!!

Will try and find a shope locally that has lots of stock to try - if anyone knows of one near Southampton or south Wales (we are up there lots) please let me know :D

Oh, ok. I'm pretty sure mine are the MX goggles too, but doesn't work for me (guess I have a smaller face). Might have a look at some of the youth goggles then, assuming that they will be smaller all over.

    Cheers :D

You get different MX Oakley goggles, all of which are different sizes e.g. O-Frames are smaller than Crowbars so will fit smaller people better but also have a smaller field of view. Maybe some XS O-Frames would fit?

If you're unsure which model you have go look on the Oakley site. Off the top of my head there are O-Frames, Proven, Mayhem and Crowbar models but there is likely to be more.
