He just looks like he doesn't want to be there.

Think about his interviews/comments since the fatal crash last year. He has performed at the very top but isn't performing now, that must be hard for him.

I know he is young but just wouldn't be surprised if he said enough is enough. Personally if I am unhappy doing something I just stop doing it - life is too short. He has that same air about him.

    I can't see him kicking it in.

    Perhaps it's bad dynamics in the team, or he's lost some motiviation this year because he covets the tour so much but feels as though he can't win because of the TTs and is down about that.

    Who knows, but I think whatever is going on, it will turn around in its own time. It's never all roses and he's just going through a tough patch at the moment.
