Well,
it's not raining, little of the Dragon Ride is anywhere near the floods and the forecast is for light rain showers later in the day.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I've just come back from a quick spin up the Bwlch and it's fairly dry up there by now, hasn't rained since late last night. It's a little windy but in an ok direction for most of the ride.0

if any of the dragon course was flooded most of england would be 30 feet under water .
weather is perfect here at the moment , if the showers hold off until mid afternoon it should be perfect conditions .ribble sportive for the black stuff

Very impressed with the organisation today, couldn't fault it. Was a bit apprehensive after last years shambles but they've certainly raised their game. Bloody hard route though on the long one.0

Also, how would today's Grand Fondo course compare to a typical Etape?0

Longer, but less climbing overall. That said my mate who's done the Marmotte reckons that you can at least get into some sort of groove on the longer Cols.

Great event and well organised. I'm glad the rain held off after an initial downpour. I was a bit surprised  towards the end when I was racing for the finish and saw the 5K to go sign ...0
