Hopefully a quick one! Looking at getting a new full sus frame and transferring my existing forks and wheels over, would 120mm Rebas be Ok for a few months or is it really a 140mm and over frame?

Cheers

Check out the Santa Cruz FAQ, a Heckler is designed around 140 - 160 forks, so fitting a 120 fork will significantly alter the head angle.
Not saying it wont be rideable but wont feel how it is suppoused to and could leave you feeling a bit disapointed.

I'd already read that hence the question, I think I may as well wait until a Superlight frame or another XC type frame comes along that I like the look of :D Most of my riding on it will be trail centres and the like anyway.

    Thanks for the help anyway.

    having owned a hekler with 32 talas r 100 120 140. then going for a 36 talas rc2 100 130 160..
the heckler is better suited to a 160mm fork it brings the bike to life. it slacken the head angle off nicely and become a singletrack dh weapon...
100-120 makes the head angle steep sure the bike will still ride but to do it any justice go for a longer for 140-160..

i also found with my heckler with a 140mm fork dived through its travel and bottomed out harsh all the time hence why i went for the 160mm fork....

    what about the santacruz nickle...

i replaced my heckler with a butcher, the frame is amazing.. really like the app suspension...

A Superlight will take a 120 fork nicely - I started MTBing on a SL years ago and have just built up a Juliana (the female specific version of the SL) as an xc race bike :D Fab bikes, they can cope with a lot!!
