Hi,

Looking to order some new spd pedals, whats the difference between the above ? As they both look pretty similar but £30 difference in price !

    XT's get a stainless rather than cromo axle, Weigh 45g's less and if like most shimano pedals slightly better bearings.

    Ive got the M530's and cannot fault them.

    Weight is probably the main one. I don't see anything wrong with going for the cheaper version! They're basically the same pedal.

    I have the M520's and the XTR M980's and as above its all about the weight. They clip in and out the same. They have both lasted for 3 years with no maintenance as well.
