99.9% of 26" tyres will fit just fine.

So yes, the 1.95" City Jets will be fine. A narrower tyre (not necessarily the City Jets) will be faster, but less comfortable. Don

It will look a little daft, but who cares, it'll be more functional.

There are myriad other slick tyres. Schwalbe Marathon get good reviews for being very tough. Conti Grand Prix are good if you want an all out 'race' type tyre. Nowt wrong with the City Jets though.

city jets will fit just fine.
its a popular choice round here for commuting on.
as njee says, the marathon plus by schwalbe is a bulletproof option and they roll nearly as well as the city jets, they are a bit more expensive, but worth the money.

city jets come in 26x 1.50 and 1.95
marathon plus come in 26x 1.35 (which i use on the commuting hardtail) and 1.50 and 1.75.

all the above will fit your wheels.

Lots of good 26" slicks, the CJ is a very good budget option unless you can find some part users!
