Yes, wasn't my bike though someone had stopped next to me with cramped calves. I was wearing Red Jawbones so hard to miss really.

And yeah Doccombe, you ran out of MTFU juice at that point then

Was really good to be back, even got a great ride in on Sat morning in the sunshine.

I got up it, ableit pretty slowly, but actually thought (as this is my first, hopefully of many DC's) that Doccombe was further on, so after the climb, when I saw the sign for Doccombe village itself, I thought, here we go, Doccombe coming up, without realising it was the climb just before the village.

Made for a nice surprise when I had no more climbs after that!! :)

Was ace for me too to see a lot of old faces and catch up. I was camping on the Saturday night, but took my tent down bone dry Sunday afternoon. I even hung around to clap the 11hour people.

I'll echo that! The marhalling was superb from every point of view - registration / event / post even - MDCC did a great job. DSRT Ashburton were great too (anyone else have the feta and spinach flan? at the Princetown feed stop? REAL FOOD!). Thanks to all for a great day.

Didn't grab any savoury, but the berry flapjack hit the spot.

Some guy said that if the food gets any better at the feed station, he's just going to ride to Princetown and stay there next time. :D
