Trek fuel ex 7 to low BB

I brought a second hand trek fuel ex7 2011 recently.
It has a Fox float-R rear shock and i measured the BB and it comes out at 30 cm, 4cm bellow the BB trek claims.
I was wondering if buying a Rp-23 would increase the BB on the bike.
any advice would be appreciated.

If the shock is the same size it would make no difference to static BB height. You are supposed to keep the same size on to work with the geo and suspension.
Try running less sag?0 -
is the shock stuck down? measure the shock shaft to make sure the full amount is exposed on an unweighted bike. i had it on a new 07 ex7, but it's nothing to do with trek, just the fox shocks!0
