Upgrading Suspension ?

hi folks just looking for some advice , i go out on mtb with my mate mostly through forestrys etc and the bike i have is a trek 4300 (2003) disc brake model , although i have keep the bike in good condition for the 9 years i have had it the suspension forks have been the only part of the bike that has rusted and from the reviews i have seen on most sites the forks are fairly poor. I am looking for advice or guidance to some forks that would be good to upgrade too, i will post the spec of the bike below cheers in advance. I have the 17.5" frame and disc brakes
Buget £100 would be willing to buy second hand if people thought it more benificial

    If you really like the bike and want to uprgade it, fair enough. This is a good fork upgrade for your budget.

    But I would say the money would be better spent putting towards a savings pot for a new bike. £350 - £400 will get you something much better. If you don't want to spend that much then stick with what you have got.

    Remember to budget for fitting the forks unless you want to tackle it yourself.

    If everything else is fine, those forks will make a huge difference, in that they will actually work.
