Went over to their shop yesterday and was quite impressed with the setup, considering purchasing from them but won't have a horrible colourscheme (you get to pick the colours and number of logos). Anyone else used them or anyone ridden one of their bikes?

Every time I see one I think of Katie Price or My Little Pony....
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Marcel Wust likes their bikes. He rode Henry Furniss's bike in the latest issue of ProCycling. It's a good review IMHO.

You do know when he doesn't like a bike. He won't come out and say it sucks though.

He also has the advantage of only riding pro quality bikes. It's unlikely he's going to say any of them are rubbish but read enough and you pick up on the bikes he thinks ride wonderfully and those which are so-so.

Re Windymilla. I'm not a huge fan of the cartoon graphics but I do like their approach to the cycling community so I'd be very happy to support them.

carton graphics can be deleted when the frame is painted (if I go for one I will delete that!)

As above, he v.rarely tests anything less then high level + the extras. The WindyMilla came across really well and has the 'advantage' of being built in Italy. So would that be Viner,Billato or the firm that build the Cipollini bikes. All reputable firms.

I don't think anyone took it the wrong way.

I always look forward to the first moment of chiched waxing lyrical about how the bike flew out of a corner in those reviews (clearly all about the bike and nothing to do with the skill/power of the ex pro riding it... ).

Was it laterally stiff and vertically compliant?

Not sure but it definitely transmitted every watt of power to the tarmac

I liked the review of the Bianchi Oltre he did last month. He mentioned how he saw another Oltre while on the test that was much nicer looking and more expensive than his, but that he '...easily dropped him on the next small rise.' ;)
