Ive got a marin palisdaes trail with bomber 22 rlo fork. For a start, i have no clue how to adjust them, the lock on the right doesnt seem to do anything, im new to this malarky.
Also, when going down a bumpy trail, they rattle annoyingly, almost sounds like a loose headset but i checked that and there is no play, when i apply front brake when bike is stationary and rock the bike, i can hear a noise, almost like theres some play in the shocks. Can this be adjusted?
Bought the bike second hand, so the forks have had some "minimal" use.

    Have you downloaded the manual?

    What year is the fork?

    Sounds like the pads moving.

bike is a 2010, so im assuming fork is also 2010, ive looked at the manual on the marzocchi site but it might aswell be in dutch
  • Could be the bushings if the fork has play when you squeeze the front brake and rock it back and forth? maybe take them to a good LBS if you don't think you could strip them down yourself. Could just do with a service.

    Thanks.
