I have Assos Uno, Assos Mille and Etxeondo Ator...they are all comfortable, good pads and well made.
For a long ride then the Mille would always be my first choice - but its not like the other two are uncomfortable, just not quite as comfortable. The styling of the Ators is pretty good - there are different materials used plus there are coloured panels on the legs while remaining black on the crack and crotch area. The Assos colour options are for the whole short not just specific panels so i always have to get the black ones so i dont look like i belong in that Polish cycling team0 -
I have some EOs and I think they're as comfortable as my Assos Unos. You'll like either IMO.0

I own 2 pairs of Dicolors and Assos TK434 3/4s and love them all, you won't go wrong with either.
I've started to wash all my shorts in the assos net bag as I'm sure it helps stopping unneccessary stretch during the spin cycle of a wash.
What top your gonna be wearing with them is probably the best way to decide as there really is little between them in my opinion.
Oh and the white leg gripper on the Etxeondo, well it's so soft you don't know it's there and looks cool with a tan !25th August 2013 12hrs 37mins 52.3 seconds 238km 5500mtrs FYRM Never again.0 -
I used to own a pair of F1 Unos. Lovely fabric and tailoring, but they really didn't give me the undercarriage support I wanted. My DHB Aeron Pros are way more comfortable for that and were less than half the price.
Can't comment on the Exteondos.0 -
I have the Etxeondo ones, and I have to say they are the most comfortable shorts I own. I have other brands that I have happily worn for 7 or 8 hour rides. IMO the Etxeondo ones are even better.
I have also found that they last longer than my Gore ones.
Also heard that they came top in a German magazine review for shorts under €100Scott Addict 2011
