Hello all,

I have a choice of these 4 jackets, but wondered if you could give me your advice please?

It will be mostly for a new 20 mile commute each way to work, probably 2 or 3 times a week, maybe more if all goes well.

The sale suspects are:
Gore Bike Wear Oxygen III SO Jacket - Black
Gore Bike Wear Tool SO Jacket - Black
Gore Bike Wear Alp X II Jacket - Black and Grey
Gore Bike Wear Oxygen SO Jacket - Red/Black

I read conflicting reviews all over the internet, so just wondered if anyone had any experience of any of the above here, and what the fit was like?

I was after a Gore Path Jacket, but it's no longer in stock :-(

Many thanks

Dan
Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
Scott CR1 SL 12
Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2

I have an Oxygen (I think - not to hand).
The only problem/negative I have with it is no pocket. If it had that it would be perfect.
Reaching underneath to shirt/shorts pockets in the cold rain with full gloves on is awkward.

    Something to consider.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I have an Oxygen IV. It isn't designed for the daily grind of commuting. It is a good garment, keeps out the rain but it is not sturdy. It is tiny and packs into a stuff sack that will easily go in the back pocket. But it feels like with repeated use it is going to rip.
