Visited North Wales on the Jubilee weekend, and made some video. Awesome day :P :

Penmachno is ace,I've fallen off a few times myself! The last few descents are my favourite, they can catch you out if you get carried away with the speed though

Yeah - luckily my "offs" were nothing spectacular - but one moment that very nearly was is at 3.04: I really don't know what kept me on the bike then, I thought I was a gonner - and we were doing ~20mph so it would have hurt!

Nice video. Havent been since last autumn have they done a bit of maintenance was very overgrown in places. Still great ride but getting whipped by wet undergrowth gets a bit dull after the first hour.

All the best bits in the video. Just add on the hour of dull fireroad and bleak (usually wet) moorland that goes with it. Though as I've mentioned a few times before I think I did the boring loop. The descents were great though, basically as in the video, but are just about what's here. 15 minutes worth of goodness. Nice if you're local or throw it in with a big trip including the rest of what North Wales has to offer. Wouldn't make a big trip just for it though.

Well, you must be spoilt for decent trails then. For me, it's about as good as it gets - I love that remote, peaceful feeling you get on Loop 2. It's worth 7 hours in the car to me.

It was snowing the day I was there a few months ago, bloody freezing! It tends to be always wet as well apparently, still some nice singletrack indeed and quite narrow, you gotta focus to keep on line or you'll be tasting dirt. I did it in a big group so was a lot of stopping but would love to smash it around it.
