they're similar to the s30al race, but with slightly heavier hub and spokes

i've got a set of the s30al race, this was 2010, they're nice, but i had a broken spoke after a few months and the hub was crazing, sram replaced the wheel under warranty

there were a few people reporting similar experiences with broken spokes

i measured a brand new wheel (not the warranty one) and found spoke tension was way out - it was true, but not tensioned to sram's published figures

i'm sure someone else on br said that the spoke hole drilling was part of the problem

it's possible that these were early production issues, i don't remember seeing reports recently

they were ok to ride, light for the price, a bit flexy out of the saddle, but with the low spoke count that's not unusual
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

I'm a sram fan but I think you can do better for that really

Go handmade or mavic or something like that...

I have them on my best bike. I find them fantastic wheels :)

As said, they're a bit flexy out of the saddle, but they manage my bulk ok :) My rear wheel is currently shot from a small argument with a van - but I will be replacing it with another.

For the money CRC are asking, they would be good wheels!
