Is there an idiots guide to correctly lower handlebars on a modern MTB? Have a Carerra Fury whose bars are slight too high and I would like to drop a little. Thanks very much.

If you have spacers between the headset and stem you can remove these. Do this by removing stem, sliding spacers off and putting stem back on steerer tube. You can either trim the steerer or put the spacers back on top of the stem.

Alternative is a new handlebar with a lower rise or get some flat bars.

    Turn the stem upside down.
