Hi People!
Got this bike... http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/db-outback-dd-p181104
Quick Release Axle has bent twice when doing some XC riding.
Want to swap it for a solid axle now, multiple bike shops have said QR is to weak.
Could you advise if this is possible and what one I would need?

If it is a standard threaded axel it is an easy swap.
But not all axels are made from a good material and can bend just as easily."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

How would I tell if it is standard?
I have 2 nuts on the axle that go inside the hub?MTB - VooDoo Bantu

Not yet: what hub do you have? If you are bending the axle, I'd get new wheels, as you'll bend the rim eventually.0

I think the one I got is 9mm at the moment, would 10 be to big?
I noticed halfords have 9.5mm!
If the 10 should fit then i'll just go for it!
thanks!MTB - VooDoo Bantu

There is no way of telling as the hub is unbranded. It won't be 9mm - either 9.5, or most likely 10mm.0
