Whilst I like the route, itinerary, hotels pre-booked etc. I'm kinda baulking at the 'CHARITY' aspect of it, doesn't sit well with the charity effectively paying for your trip (assuming sponsorship total is met)
Or just pay £1,173 yourself to enjoy the experience.
Now, my question, has anyone done this? or organised their own trip of a similar itinerary, ferry over, cycle to Paris and Eurostar back.
Any tips/hints/good advice sites from those that have done something similar, if I wanted to organise a trip myself?

my bro is doing (well he says he is !) exactly that...ie. doing it himself with a few friends....I'll ask him for some tips

just been having a read thru rodgers73 thread on the trip he's planning this year. Dates are no good for me, I need something between 3rd and 10th of August and the route he's chosen is a long one!
