RS Revs - Motion Control damper blown

Hi,
I have a set of 2009 RS Revs (429s I think) with the Motion Control compression damping system, which I normally leave in the 'open' position (I have remote adjuster, which I don't use). Anyway, on a ride at the weekend the Motion Control damper cartridge has 'blown'; there's oil leaking from the blue top-cap and some oil on the right-hand stanchion. The thing is, I was hoping to take the bike away with me this coming week, so I'm not going to be able to get the fork fixed in the meantime. So, can I still ride the fork without doing any further damage and it's will performance without the Motion Control damping make it un-rideable?
Ta.

+1, sure its not just an oil leak?
If it is, you will probably need to replace the o rings on the damper side and refill with oil as per the instructions.0 -
