Over the last week I wave noticed that my rear wheel is sliding out a bit on lose stuff, atm I have Nobby nics front and rear, I have spare a set of rocket rons, tomorrow I am doing the marin trail in north wales, what would be the recomended tyre combo, stick to the NN's or the RR's? or NN up front and RR on the rear? I dont have time to buy a new set before the ride before people suggest other tyres.

Thanks

for grip i would stick with nic's all round. i run the same.

if you want a quicker feel slam the ron on the back.

if you are struggling with rear grip the try dipping your heels, put some more weight through the tyres. run slightly lower pressure in rear if you wish.

What are you riding and wear? Nics are fine on relatively well groomed trails, But show them some mud a few rocks or roots and you might as well throw yourself in the bushes now.

Many people are putting on the Hans Dampf tires for a more all round grippy trail tire
