So my 2009 gt sanction has broken its iDrive main pin cap. No one seems to sell these so the bike is basically scrap. (tried betd, worse than useless). Additionally when I needed new pivot bearings I had to source them from the Netherlands.

So I need a new bike from a manufacturer that is willing to supply spare parts! Not a difficult request I would have thought ..
Can anyone suggest makes I should be looking at please ?

Have you tried the UK distributor (used to be Hotwheels but I think they were bought out by Dorel or something)? Looks like their UK office is on 020 8236 0707
Have you tried GT direct? http://www.gtbicycles.com/contact
Or alternately a GT dealer locally? Not that the GT website seems to be very helpful with that.

The Sanction is still in manufacture so I'd have thought parts for it would be freely available.

In that case perhaps you'd prefer my alternate answer:

You can't get parts for that bike anymore. You probably should get a new one.
