Assos F1 uno sizing?

I am looking to purchase my first pair of Assos bib shorts, the f1 Uno seem worth a shot?
As I intend to order online, I have come up against the sizing problem.
Having searched on here for previous posts, it appears I am not the only one with this issue.
So, on the basis of 6ft, 78kg, 32.5" waist and inside leg, I think I am looking at the size Large?
My other question relates to the coloured shorts, how do they hold up to a bloke sticking them in the washing machine,,if I get anything other than black will they end up pink or grey???
I would be grateful if anyone had experience based on the above.
Cheers.

I think you would be better off with xl than l - I am 6'1"; 34" waist' 33" leg and xl feels just about big enough.
Only ever had black shorts - golden rule is no fabric softener with lycra.

i'd say xl
i use the assos cleaner for my kit (mostly non-assos) and handwash, a bottle isn't cheap but you get a lot of washes out of it, so on a per-wash basis it's ok
i've got some f1 uno, but i rarely wear them since i got some castelli body paint as the assos ones feel bulky/thick in comparison, it's personal preference of course, the f1 uno are very good, but if you've not had a look at a few different makes/models/styles i'd try to do so, posh bibs aren't cheapmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
I reckon lg would do, they are quite loose fitting compared to other Assos shorts. I wash them on delicate with persil non-bio liquid in the net they come with, colour is fine.Smarter than the average bear.0

Tks for the advice guys...as with the personal nature of most things related to cycling, fit is everything.
In the mean time I went to Decathlon and purchased a £40 set of bibs while I work out which ones to buy for "best" and longer rides.
This gave me the opportunity to try several pairs on and although the medium were ok, I felt the large were slightly better.
The point being without trying on 2 different sizes at the same time, I may not get the best out of an expensive pair.

As for washing, in the bag provided on a cool wash. Some people have spoken of the black losing colour and becoming transparent, not in my experience, but the coloured shorts shouldn't run on a cool wash.0 -
I would go for L if I was you..I'm 6 foot 2 inches with a 36" waist and the xl fits perfectly..As said earlier, forget about your waist, it's about height..0
