Hi all
On my new build i have decided to go 10 spd for that 36 sprocket, already on their way are Sram shifters, rear mech and Shimano XT front mech and cassette and KMC chain. I was hoping to use my XT cranks but been given conflicting views on whether the 9 spd chainrings will work?
Some say yes others no due to 10 spd chains being much narrower...
So i decided to buy 10 spd chainrings to fit to my XT cranks but there are none about anywhere
If i cant use 9 spd cranks what new crankset do you recommend?
I like XT for the slimplicity of the pinchbolts and tensioning bolt so the M780 makes sense but it would be nice to save some pennies
Cheers
