I'm planning to sign up for this one but I've still got to decide on a distance. It's between the short or medium as I'm still new to sportives.

Better than the Predator? From Blackpool to the hills there are too many dead flat meaningless miles. The Bradley Wiggins Sportive route is much better.

Didn't Rapha organise (well, sponsor) a sportive from Blackpool out to Bowland a few years ago, and most people thought it had too many flat Fylde miles just to start & finish in Blackpool ?

I guess KiltoToGo are getting a chunk of sponsorship from Blackpool council or something...

Agree with davelakers, the Pedal Pedal/Bowland Beast/Pendle Predator/Bradley Wiggins/whatever-its-name-is-this-time sportive has got to have a better route, or Le Terrier
