Hi, does anyone have a garmin route in the cheddar area.
I am looking for a 30 mile route, taking in the gorge, as i want some climbing.

If anyone has a link that would be great/

Look at garmin Connect/Explore and locate the map around Cheddar. There are only a few showing though.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Thanks but that doesn't seem to work...just seems to stay "locating"

Have a look at these. I live around Cheddar, so let me know (via PM) if you want someone to ride with.

I live in Bristol, but head out to Cheddar for hill training for trips to the Alps - not a good climber, but love the descents! The link below starts & finishes at the bottom of Burrington Combe by the cycle shop & also includes climbs of East Harptree, Rodney Stoke, The Gorge & Shipham.

Feel free to check out any of my other routes - enjoy your time on the bike!

My choice for best climbs and descents would be: start at the bottom of Burrington; right at the top to Charterhouse then right again towards Shipham; left at the Shipham road and descend to Cheddar; up Cheddar Gorge; right fork to Priddy; right at Priddy and descend to Wookey Hole; from Wells take the old Bristol road which is left off the main Bristol road; follow your nose and then fork left for the Burrington descent. 50km, a little over 2 hours and the climbing won't kill you.
