Got a Fox Float RL shock fitted on my bike, came as standard on my Giant Reign 2.

The issue I have is: when I flick the pro pedal lever either way it doesnt feel as though there is any change. Also doesnt feel as though there is any damping action.

Should the shock lock out when inthe pro pedal position?

should there be an obvious difference in the rebound damping?

Depends on the shock tune - but the difference can be subtle, only noticable under hard pedalling efforts. It does not lock it out.

The rebounda damper should be pretty noticable in the speed it extends.

did it suddenly stop working ?
My RL "popped" its lockout ...suspension functioned perfectly but the lockout wouldnt lock...Mojo needed it in for a
service.,,apparently its very straightforward for them to fix but you need to pay for the service :(

The shock doesn't lock, it just sort of gets tight.
I notice it when I put a zip tie on the shock between the two settings.
Also the seat 'ramps up' slightly making climbing easier.
They are very adjustable. I would consult my LBS and see if there is an issue, it may just need some advice for the operator!!

Pro pedal is only for low frequency damping. But you sould notice something when climbing.
