Goggles as my glasses trashed

Footnote: Not sure if in Buying or beginners section?
I was until this morning using my wrap around safety glasses, was coming up to the lights, poxy bee or wasp was hovering near my face, I swiped the air to make it go away and knocked my glasses off.. and the best bit the driver behind me f*cking ran them over.
Now they were only £8 ish, but the point is I now have no glasses to ride with. I have an old pair of Oakley snowboarding goggles, took them for a spin on the bike and felt really happy with the comfort and fit whilst riding. They are not proper moto goggles but....
I quite like the idea of now wearing smallish style goggles instead of wrap around glasses
1, Is this a no no?
2, Can you get smallish style goggles, that won't mist up?
3, Can anyone recommend some?
ps For the process of ridicle for even contemplating wearing goggles for normal riding, I put my hand up

If you like them, then use them.
I got some of these http://www.uksportseyewear.co.uk/product.php/35/squash-glasses-squash-goggles as a bargain off ebay, with 3 types of lense and case.
They're like an interim between glasses and full on goggles. Usually just wear them with the normal arm's, but if you're doing something rough, can stick the strap on and not worry about them going anywhere.0 -
I would suggest just get some new cheap glasses.
Because you would also need to buy one of this leather flying caps (cost loads££) to get the 1920's aviator look.0 -

Yep I know
Just been to LBS and tried on some Oakley Flak Jackets, they will price match and I really liked the look of them and also they won't mist up when I am a gibbering wreck slouched over the handle bars on a hill climb!
Just got some bits on Ebay for sale, when sold I'm going to pick up those flak jackets.I'm pedalling as fast as I can!0 -
Have a look on deal extreme, they usually have "oakleys" for about £20 delivered. Few guys off another forum have them and they are spot on as per the oakleys, except a hell of a lot cheaper. So not so annoying when they come off and get run over
Something like this http://dx.com/p/outdoor-sports-cycling-uv-400-protection-tr-90-frame-pc-lens-sunglasses-w-replacement-lens-set-108441, theres lots of others though, have a look.0 -
